Retail Management Trainee

Job Description

Location: Islandwide
Time: 1030am to 1030pm with shift work, minimum 54 hours work week (excluding meal breaks)
Monthly rest: 4 days
This role is designed to train the individual to become a store manager

Job Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Service:

Engage customers with excellent service, assisting with product selections and providing information on the brand and products.
Achieve sales targets and actively promote products, including upselling and cross-selling.
Store Operations:

Learn and participate in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and store maintenance.
Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining an organized and appealing store layout.
Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and help manage stock replenishment.
Coordinate with the backroom team to ensure proper storage and availability of products on the floor.
Team Leadership and Training:

Support store staff and learn supervisory skills to manage daily tasks and resolve minor operational issues.
Participate in employee training programs to gain leadership skills and a deeper understanding of team dynamics.
Reporting and Analysis:

Record and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and inventory metrics to understand business performance.
Contribute ideas to improve store operations, customer experience, and sales growth.
