Operations Supervisor #Airport

Job Description

•Manage staff deployment and resource balancing to ensure adequate terminal staffing.
•Conduct daily roll calls and operations briefings.
•Supervise a team of 20-30 staff, ensuring performance standards are met.
•Oversee Taxi, Trolley, and Porter operations in the terminal.
•Monitor supply and demand for taxis, trolleys, wheelchairs, and baby strollers.
•Address customer complaints, resolve on-site incidents, and escalate issues when needed.
•Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Taxi Operations:
•Supervise taxi operations at stands and holding areas, ensuring smooth procedures.
•Train staff to improve taxi coordination proficiency.
•Maintain taxi counter housekeeping and equipment functionality.
•Respond to incidents involving taxi drivers or passengers.
•Provide management with timely updates on taxi-related issues.
Trolley Operations:
•Oversee daily intra- and inter-terminal trolley transfers.
•Ensure sufficient trolleys, wheelchairs, and strollers at designated points.
•Retrieve unused trolleys to prevent obstructions.
•Maintain lightweight equipment and perform daily resource counts, submitting reports to the Operations Manager.
Porterage Services:
•Monitor flight schedules to ensure timely porterage services.
•Coordinate passenger contact and staff assignment for porterage.
•Update the management center on porterage service status.
•Collect and issue payments/receipts as required.
Periodic Duties:
•Responsible for the conduct, disciplinary and administrative issues of assigned staff.
•Mentor assigned staff.
•Provide intra-terminal supervisor duty coverage when required

Job Requirements

•Diploma in Science/Engineering/Supply Chain or equivalent preferred
•Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in operations functions.
•Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
•Able to adapt to change and a good team player.
•Able to work on Shift Duty.
•Able to obtain an Airport Pass (Airside).
