Furniture Carpenter

Job Description

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday – 9:30am to 6:00pm

Salary:

Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Cut, process, and assemble wood according to design drawings and specifications.

Manufacture, repair, and install all types of wooden furniture.

Use hand tools and power tools to cut, drill, sand, and fasten materials.

Inspect and ensure furniture structures are stable and appearance is satisfactory.

Perform sanding, painting, or surface finishing when necessary.

Maintain and care for woodworking tools and equipment.

Comply with safety regulations and keep the work area clean.

Communicate with designers, clients, and team members to ensure timely project completion.

Job Requirements

Relevant work experience as a furniture carpenter or in a similar role.

Familiar with wood properties and furniture-making techniques.

Proficient in operating woodworking machinery and tools (e.g., saws, drills, sanders).

Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Detail-oriented with good craftsmanship and hands-on skills.

Strong sense of responsibility and team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in furniture manufacturing or carpentry workshops is an advantage.
