Car Mechanic

Job Description

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs (engine, transmission, electrical systems, etc.).
Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
Identify faults accurately and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Carry out repairs according to company standards and safety procedures.
Test vehicles after repair to ensure proper functionality.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and organized.
Communicate repair status and findings to service advisors or customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements

Diploma or technical certification in Automotive Engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience (or more for senior roles).
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
Good problem-solving and hands-on skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Valid certification or license is an advantage.
