Baristas are responsible for preparing a range of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to established recipes. This includes grinding and brewing coffee, steaming milk, and creating latte art.



Job Description

Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
Greet and interact with customers, take orders, answer questions about coffee and menu items, and ensure that customers have a pleasant experience in the café.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the drink menu.
Maintain quality and consistency of the coffee.
Monitor the brewing process, adjust grind size and extraction time as needed, and ensure that the coffee meets the café's standards.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the coffee equipment.
Handle cashiering, process payments, issue receipts.

Job Requirements

Has an in-depth knowledge of different coffee beans, origins, roasting techniques, and flavor profiles. (familiar with Australian Coffee is an added advantage)
Able to multi-task; taking orders, preparing beverages, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness.
Must be able to commit shift hours
Preferably 1-2 years of experience
Proficient in latte art
