Air-Conditioning Technician | Woodlands & On-Site | From $3,500 + Variable Bonus

Job Description

Installation & Maintenance
Install, maintain, repair, and service all types of air conditioning systems (split, window, cassette units).
Review blueprints, commission, and test systems for functionality.

Routine & Preventive Maintenance
Conduct preventive maintenance including cleaning of blowers, coils, and performing chemical washes on FCUs.
Perform corrective maintenance to ensure system efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Repairs
Diagnose and troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues.
Replace or repair faulty components such as compressors and fan coil motors.

New System Planning
Plan, design, and install new air-conditioning systems when required.

Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate service records and obtain client sign-offs.
Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations.

Emergency & On-Call Service
Respond to emergency breakdowns and urgent service calls as required.

Other Duties
Follow all safety procedures and instructions.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors/management.

Job Requirements

Experience & Education
Minimum 2 years of experience in air-conditioning repair or maintenance.
NITEC / Higher NITEC in Air Conditioning, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Skills & Attributes
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Physically fit to handle site work including kneeling, lifting, and working in tight or hot spaces.
Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when needed.
Good team player with strong communication skills.
